The owner was present and explained the history and philosophy behind the restaurant - simple meals made from his Nonna's recipes. The food was fabulous, accompanied by a lovely bottle of wine that was the special of the day. I will not hesitate to return the next time I am in NYC.

Would definitely come back here. The place was busy on a Friday night and we got the last table. They take reservations. The staff were all so nice. Our waiter was the best. I explained I had allergies and I normally feel bad about it and know the place probably hates me. But he was so great and caring. My bf had the kale and potato soup which was very good. He had veal ravioli which he liked as well. I had a side of pasta with butter which was cooked perfectly. The mashed potatoes were flavorful as well. They gave us bread and dip for the table.

Perfect! Perfect perfect! I have no complaints about this restaurant whatsoever. My wife and I came here to have a nice dinner before watching a concert at terminal 5. Which is about a 5-minute walk from this restaurant. I knew it was an Italian restaurant that made their own pasta, so of course I had to have pasta on my cheat day. I ordered the beef carpaccio for starters and it was fantastic. It came with arugula and shaved Parmesan on top. My wife got the octopus which was on some type of mashed potatoes. She loved it. I was hesitant to get ravioli because I never order it but I was so happy I did when it arrived. The flavor was fantastic. It had vegetables and a beautiful sauce that it sat in. My wife also loved her muscle dish and I finished off her cavatelli cuz she couldn't finish it. The waiter was attentive and very nice. We also got a bottle of wine for $52 and it was perfect. The manager came over to make sure the food was great and of course it was. He also was very happy to see that we both finished our plates with not one bite left. I would definitely return to this restaurant and thanks for giving us the beginning of her wonderful evening.

Very good food in a busy city. We loved it and would come back, which is big since there are so many great restaurants in NYC. It felt like you were in a small town restaurant where everyone knows your name. The bruschetta was delicious. The Italian dishes that we had were delicious and I snuck peaks at other tables and will try those next. We did have an episode where we they had to call 911 due to a customers health and the restaurant handled it nicely. We made a reservation which was good since place was busy and small.

This was my first time here and what a cute little gem of a place. The beau recommended it and he wasn't wrong. Went after work for dinner and while fairly small it was busy for the early hour. We chatted with our neighbors who were off to see a show so it does draw a pre theater crowd. It's dim and cozy and we had the front corner table which I loved. The Caesar salad was fresh and above average. We shared pastas (see pics) and enjoyed them both very much. Spring for the tiramisu which was a little disappointing but you can't win them all. I don't love a tiramisu prepared in single servings but that's just me. Check it out!

Came here last night pre show O was going to with friends. I got the Baruta di pollo. The dish came with 2 large pounded chicken breast's that were cooked well but were a bit salty for me. The dish also had about 7 broccoli and over 20 carrot slices. It was delicious and exactly what I was looking for. It's also a great value. The service was prompt and on point .
